PM call with Chancellor Merkel: 13 December
Prime Minister Boris Johnson spoke with Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany.
The Chancellor congratulated him on the result of the election and they spoke about the importance of maintaining the strong relationship between Germany and the UK.
The leaders looked forward to meeting early next year.
