The Chairman of the Civil Nuclear Police Authority (CNPA), Sir Philip Trousdell, welcomes a new Authority member, Phil Craig, who joined the Authority as an Industry Representative Member (DSRL) on 1 February 2016.

He is currently Managing Director, Dounreay Site restoration Ltd (DSRL) and is leading the Category 1 nuclear licenced site through its decommissioning programme from the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA).

Phil has a background in engineering and project management, delivering technically complex projects and programmes within highly regulated environments in the UK. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the nuclear industry and has focussed on supporting the UK nuclear decommissioning, defence and existing power generation sectors. He is a key member of the Cavendish Nuclear Projects Board and was interim Managing Director in 2015.

Sir Phillip Trousdell said: “I am delighted to welcome Phil to the Civil Nuclear Police Authority. His wide experience in the nuclear industry over the past 20 years will be of enormous benefit to the Authority.”
