This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

Mr Clegg answered questions from the audience as well as questions posted on Twitter and Windows Live Messenger.

The Deputy PM took a range of questions about his remit and Government policy, covering issues such as transparency in the House of Commons, the NHS and deficit reduction.

Mr Clegg also answered questions from the public about other issues concerning them, such as the floods in Pakistan.

The Deputy PM stressed that one quarter of the aid devoted to Pakistan had come from the UK but that the international response so far had been “pitiful”.
