Alok Sharma, Minister for Asia responds to the recent bombing in Davao, Philippines:
I condemn the horrific attack on a market in Davao City in the Philippines. My thoughts are with the families and loved ones of all those who have died as a result of this appalling act, and I wish those injured a speedy recovery.
The British Embassy in Manila is in close contact with the Philippine authorities and we stand ready to offer assistance.
