M6 junction 3 slip roads near Coventry to be resurfaced

The Highways Agency will be resurfacing the M6 junction 3 slip roads near Coventry from Tuesday 20 May.

The northbound exit and southbound entry slip roads will be completed first. Work on the northbound entry slip road and southbound exit slip road is expected to start on Thursday 29 May and Monday 2 June respectively.

Road markings, studs, traffic detection loops and high friction surfacing will all be reinstated.

During the work, which is due to end on Friday 20 June, the slip roads will be closed overnight Monday to Saturday from 7pm to 8am with the exception of the bank holiday on Monday 26 May.

Diversions will direct road users to the next junction of the M6, where they can turn around and continue their journey. People are advised to allow extra time to travel.
