IMPORTANT NOTICE/CHANGES TO GUINEA VISA SERVICES FOR THE UK

Changes to Visa Services for Guinea

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

From 11th August 2014 our new commercial partner Teleperformance Ltd will take over the running of visa services in Sierra Leone at N° 7, Lumley Beach Road, Aberdeen, Freetown. The visa office at the British High Commission, Spur Road, Freetown, will close.

In addition to the new location we are making the following changes to the visa service that we offer. These changes are as follows:

•Change of opening hours: 08:30 – 14:30 Monday to Friday

•User Pay Charges. From 11th August 2014 there will be a charge of £59 (700,000GNF) to use the Visa Application Centre in Freetown. This will be in addition to the visa fee and will cover the cost of providing the application submission facilities in Sierra Leone. Your appointment at this Visa Application Centre will not be honoured if this fee is not paid.

We will work closely with our Commercial Partners to ensure continuity of service during the transition period.
