Crown Prosecution Service visit to Kyrgyzstan as a part of the Criminal Justice Dialogue project funded by the British Embassy Bishkek

(Bishkek, 17 June 2013) – Duncan Moass, Deputy Director for International Co-operation at the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), and his colleague, Terry Palfrey, will visit Kyrgyzstan from 17 to 20 June 2013. This visit is part of the Criminal Justice Dialogue project funded by the British Embassy Bishkek to strengthen mutual understanding of the two criminal justice systems and support reform of the Kyrgyz system through a series of inward and outward visits by Kyrgyz and UK experts.

Duncan Moass and Terry Palfrey will work closely with their colleagues from the Kyrgyz Office of the Prosecutor General. The visit includes a presentation on how the CPS works domestically and internationally, as well as meetings with representatives of the Kyrgyz criminal justice system and judiciary.
