From September Tursun Aitbaeva will be studying at London’s City University for an MSc in Energy, Trade and Finance. Tursun who has several years’ experience in the mining sector said:
British universities are among the best in the world. I’m looking forward to sharing my experience of mining in Kyrgyzstan with the other students – and to learning from them.
Throughout her scholarship, Tursun will share her observations on studying in the UK at the Embassy’s Facebook page.
Applications for 2015/16 Chevening scholarships are open until 15 November. On 18-19 September, Chevening expert Harish Lokhun will visit Bishkek to brief potential students on scholarships and the application process.
