The British Government used the platform of Gulfood in Dubai to announce their partnership with two Michelin starred chef Atul Kochhar to promote and celebrate UK food and drink during Expo 2015 in Milan.
The Government’s partnership with Mr Kochhar – whose restaurants include Rang Mahal in Dubai – will see the world-renowned chef creating signature dishes for visitors to the UK pavilion in Milan.
Commenting on the decision to use Gulfood to make this announcement, the UK’s Consul General to Dubai, Edward Hobart said:
The world’s biggest annual food and drink trade show, in the presence of a record number of UK exhibiting companies, and in the city that will host their own Expo in 2020, is the perfect time and location for us to announce this exciting partnership with one of the world’s top chefs”.
