British Embassy presents donations to Bahraini charities
Deputy Head of Mission Russ Dixon presented cheques totalling 14,774 BD
On Thursday 19 December, on behalf of the British Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Iain Lindsay OBE, Deputy Head of Mission Russ Dixon presented cheques totalling 14,774 BD to Mrs. Dee Carvalho of Think Pink Bahrain and Dr Sara Al Reefy of the Bahrain Cancer Society. The money was raised at the Embassy’s hugely popular Pink Garden Party charity event on 30 October.
In addition, Mr Fahad Al Shirawi of Punchline Media handed over a cheque to RIA for the 10,000 BD which was raised at the Faulty Towers charity dinner on 20 November, which was held under the patronage of the Ambassador.
