British Ambassador to Chile presented credentials to President Piñera

The Head of State and HMA Fiona Clouder talked about issues of common interest during a private audience.

Chilean President Sebastián Piñera greets HMA Fiona Clouder.

The new British ambassador to Chile, Fiona Clouder, presented her credentials to President Sebastián Piñera, at a ceremony that took place at La Moneda presidential palace on March 3rd.

Ambassador Clouder was accompanied by her husband and a delegation from the British Embassy, including a representative of the local staff. The delegation was received at the palace by the presidential guard and escorted by the Head of Protocol of the Chilean Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

After formal introductions, President Piñera granted HMA Clouder a private audience, during which they discussed issues of common interest and the long-standing relation between the two countries.
