Her Britannic Majesty’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Simon Martin CMG, issues a statement to mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

British Ambassador sends his best wishes on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr

The British Ambassador said:

I would like to send my best wishes to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and all the people of Kingdom of Bahrain, as they celebrate Eid Al Fitr.

Throughout Ramadan I have thoroughly enjoyed visiting the traditional Bahraini majalis, allowing me to see firsthand the values of Ramadan in action, in particular; society, generosity and compassion. I know that Eid Al Fitr marks the completion of the month of Ramadan and this occasion is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the common values that are shared by all of us.

I would also like to thank the Bahraini people for their continuing generous friendship, kindness and hospitality during Ramadan.
