Blair McDougall was appointed Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State jointly in the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade and the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero on 22 July 2026.
He was previously Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State in the Department for Business and Trade between 7 September 2025 and 22 July 2026. He was elected as the MP for East Renfrewshire in July 2024.
