Stephen Morgan was appointed Junior Lord of the Treasury (Government Whip) on 7 September 2025. He was previously Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State (Minister for Early Education) at the Department for Education between 9 July 2024 and 7 September 2025.
He was elected as the Labour MP for Portsmouth South in June 2017.
