Working Group on Anti-Muslim Hatred/Islamophobia Definition (closed)
A working group was established to provide government with advice on a working definition of Anti-Muslim Hatred/Islamophobia which is reflective of a wide range of perspectives and priorities of British Muslims.
This group is no longer active.
The government has now adopted a non-statutory definition of anti-Muslim hostility, informed by advice from the independent Working Group.
Membership
The Working Group was made up of representatives from Muslim communities, independent experts, and academics.
