Smart Data Council
The Smart Data Council brings together a range of skilled and knowledgeable individuals to help shape a future in which data delivers benefits for individuals, businesses and wider society. The council is an advisory body whose members represent a collective commitment to ambition, integrity and supporting the delivery of outcomes that are demonstrably valuable.
Role of the group
Uniquely positioned at the intersection of public and private interests, the council facilitates two-way dialogue, bringing industry insights into government strategy and translating policy into actionable frameworks. It plays a vital role in ensuring Smart Data schemes are not only technically viable but also socially and economically impactful.
Building on the success of previous iterations, the Smart Data Council remains committed to ongoing development and inclusivity. It fosters collaboration across diverse sectors to deliver outcomes that are practical, measurable and widely recognised. With a focus on translating intentions into effective and enduring results, the council aims to make a substantive and lasting contribution, speaking with a unified voice and taking collective pride in shared accomplishments.
