Obesity Review Group

The Obesity Review Group has closed. The group brought together a range of experts and partners to take stock of progress in meeting the national ambitions and to consider what more needs to be done.

Role of group

The role of the Group was to:

  • consider and interpret national statistics on excess weight
  • share evidence and experience of initiatives to address or prevent excess weight and of the wider obesity landscape
  • advise on opportunities for research and support in the future for DH and others to consider
