MHCLG Sikh roundtable group

Officials in the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) hold roundtables 3 times a year with representatives from Sikh umbrella organisations and academics. These meetings provide the opportunity to hear the views and concerns of Sikhs so that they can be taken forward across government. They also allow officials to share key government policy messages and developments that are of particular relevance to Sikhs.

Membership

In order for the government to hear a wide and representative range of views, we are refreshing the group and looking to appoint new members. This will give us a broad membership across England’s Sikh community, bringing a breadth of opinion and representing a wide range of views. We anticipate the group will be made up of around 12 to 15 members.

Applications will close on 29 March 2019.
