- part two - the consultation on the draft licence conditions for the monitoring requirements
The strategy sets out plans to establish arrangements for monitoring and evaluating the smart meters roll-out. This will provide essential feedback to inform decisions, enable stakeholders to understand the progress that the programme is making, and underpin arrangements for managing the programme’s benefits.
The consultation section seeks views on the proposals for monitoring energy suppliers’ plans and progress to date on rolling out smart meters to domestic and non domestic sites. It gives an overview of the proposed type, volume and frequency of data required from energy suppliers, and includes draft licence conditions.
