Consultation description

The UK government and Scottish government have launched a consultation on the commencement of the provisions in the Scotland Act 2012 relating to Supreme Court appeals. The consultation document includes a draft transitional order and a draft commencement order and seeks views as to whether the proposed approach to commencement achieves the desired intention, in particular in relation to existing criminal proceedings.
