Transport improvements for Plymouth with £19.9 million allocation
£19.9 million from the Levelling Up Fund was allocated to Plymouth for transport improvements in the city.
Plans for the funding allocation include:
- introducing electric vehicle charging points at The George Park and Ride
- increasing parking capacity at The George Park and Ride
- improving capacity on the A386 Tavistock Road
- creating new walking and cycling facilities
- upgrading the Woolwell Roundabout
