Langside Sports Club’s £100,000 boost

£100,000 was allocated to Langside Sports Club in Glasgow in December 2022 from the UK Community Ownership Fund.

Langside Sports Club has recently become the custodian of Albert Park in Glasgow’s Southside. The project is focused on the preservation of 2 buildings - which are in need of renovation and repair:

  • the clubhouse
  • the pavilion

The sports club aims to make the buildings:

  • more energy efficient and inclusive
  • spaces that allow the community to come together for various activities
