Funding allocation of almost £20 million for improvements on A16
Almost £20 million from the Levelling Up Fund was allocated to improve the A16 corridor between Boston and Spalding.
Almost £20 million from the Levelling Up Fund was allocated to improve the A16 corridor between Boston and Spalding, improving transport links for the food growth sector. Currently, there is limited capacity on the single carriageway with several pinch points.
The planned package of projects aims to:
- complement other transport projects in the area
- provide improved walking and cycling facilities
- reduce congestion along the corridor
- address connectivity issues
- attract further investment
