Councillor Martin Tennant, Rushmoor Borough Council’s Cabinet member for Major Projects and Property, said:

Farnborough’s new leisure and cultural hub is a key part of the regeneration of our town centre. The council’s vision for the scheme is for an iconic forward-thinking, carbon net zero destination that will provide new leisure facilities, alongside a library and community and cultural space in the heart of the town. We are delighted that the government has awarded us the full £20 million of our bid and grateful for the confidence that this shows in our proposals.
