£20 million for traffic improvements in Lincoln (Levelling Up Fund 2)

Funding from the Levelling Up Fund has provisionally been allocated to create two new bridges in Lincoln. This will alleviate traffic on nearby roads and create new links to the Western Growth Corridor development.

The two bridges will help unlock the Western Growth Corridor development which will include:

  • a new community centre
  • 3,200 new homes
  • a business park

One bridge will provide access for vehicles and public transport, the other will be for pedestrians and cyclists.
