£14.1 million allocation for Westfield Roundabout
Falkirk has been allocated £14.1 million from the Levelling Up Fund to upgrade Westfield Roundabout.
This will improve local transport infrastructure by:
- alleviating traffic pressures and improving traffic flows
- improving active travel connections
Plans for the funding include:
- new and upgraded roads and roundabouts
- active travel improvements for pedestrians and cyclists
The network improvements have the potential to ensure safety and connectivity and to boost economic recovery in the area.
