Before you start
You can order the following forms to be posted to a UK address.
You can download some of them. But some can’t be downloaded because they include features that can’t be printed, for example a clear plastic window to attach a photo.

| D1 pack | Application for a driving licence for a car, moped or motorcycle |
| D1W pack | Welsh version of the D1 pack |
| D2 pack | Application for a driving licence for a lorry, minibus or bus (you need to download and print a D4 form) |
| D2/D4 pack | Application for a driving licence for a lorry, minibus or bus (D4 form will be posted to you) |
| DL1 | Apply for a driving licence for all vehicle types in Northern Ireland |
| D777B | Application for a driver digital tachograph smart card |
| D779B | Application for a company digital tachograph smart card |
| CT/ Retention Pack | Application to transfer or retain a vehicle registration number |
| Used vehicle import pack | Application to register a used imported vehicle for use in the United Kingdom |
| New vehicle import pack | Application to register a new imported vehicle for use in the United Kingdom |
| V55/5 | Application for first vehicle tax and registration of a used motor vehicle |
| V355/5 | Application guide to filling in a V55/5 |
| V55/4 | Application for first vehicle tax and registration of a new motor vehicle |
| V355/4 | Application guide to filling in a V55/4 |
| V62 | Application for a vehicle registration certificate |
| V317 | Application to transfer or retain a vehicle registration number (number plate) - or you can keep a registration number or put a registration number on another vehicle online |
| V890 | Statutory Off Road Notification (SORN) - you can also use the online service to make a SORN |
