Who can use this service

You can use this service if you applied for a visa to:

  • study
  • visit as a tourist or see family and friends
  • work or attend a business event
  • get married or enter into a civil partnership
  • have medical treatment
  • travel through (‘transit’) on the way to another country

Before you start

You’ll need the date you verified your identity by either:

  • using the ‘UK Immigration: ID Check’ phone app
  • visiting a visa application centre – for example, VFS Global
