Who can get a refund
You may be able to get money back if you paid the immigration health surcharge (IHS) and you work in health and care.
There are different ways to get money back, depending on your visa and your job.
If you have a Skilled Worker visa and you’re a medical professional, you are eligible for a refund - you’ll need to apply for it.
If you do not have a Skilled Worker visa or you work in another health or care role, you may be able to apply for a refund.
The Skilled Worker visa has replaced the Tier 2 (General) work visa.
