CDSSG04750 - Navigating the Tariff, Step 7 - Understanding other document code drivers
In addition to any Document Codes required by the Commodity Code, Procedure Code and Additional Procedure Codes, users should check the full list of codes provided in Appendix 5 to identify any other Document Codes that should be provided in DE 2/3 in order to the declare the goods.
Other drivers for Document Codes may include:
- Other authorisations such as Authorised Economic Operator (AEO), Customs Supervised Exports (CSE) or Entry in Declarant’s Records (EIDR)
- Preference or Origin Statements
- Transport documents
- Commercial documents, such as packing lists or invoices.
