Stainless steel wires originating in India (Anti-Dumping Duty 2293)

Expiry of countervailing measures concerning stainless steel wires, originating in India.

The Commission has announced the expiry of Countervailing Duty on imports of stainless steel wires, originating in India.

The decision was announced in the Official Journal, ref 2018/C315/11 dated 7 September 2018.

No Countervailing Duty will be charged on imports of the product from 9 September 2018.

The product concerned is classified within the following commodity codes:

  • 7223 0019 00
  • 7223 0099 00

Anti-Dumping Duty on Indian stainless steel wire imports remains in force.

Customs Handling of Import and Export Freight (CHIEF) has been updated. The printed tariff will be updated in the November amendments.
