Ceramic tableware and kitchenware from the People's Republic of China (Anti-Dumping Duty 2340)

The Commission has advised in Implementing Regulation 2019/1099, OJ ref. L175, that the following new Chinese exporting producer of ceramic tableware and kitchenware will be subject to the Anti-Dumping Duty rate of 17.9%.

This regulation takes effect from 29 June 2019.

The application of the definitive Anti-Dumping Duty rates will be conditional upon presentation to the customs authorities of a valid commercial invoice, in the following format.

The declaration on the commercial invoice must be signed by the company official issuing the invoice, it must include.

  1. The name and position of the company official issuing the commercial invoice.

  2. The following declaration.
    “I, the undersigned, certify that the (volume) of ceramic tableware and kitchenware sold for export to the European Union covered by this invoice was manufactured by (company name and address) (TARIC additional code) in (country concerned). I declare that the information provided in this invoice is complete and correct.”

  3. Date and signature

The products are currently classified within the following commodity codes:

  • 6911 1000 90
  • 6912 0021 11
  • 6912 0021 91
  • 6912 0023 10
  • 6912 0025 10
  • 6912 0029 10

Customs Handling of Import and Export Freight (CHIEF) has been updated. The printed Tariff will be updated in September 2019.
