| Since the introduction of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) on 1 September 2008, providers registered on the EYR have been given a 'EYR inspection'. Only full EYR inspections, those where children were present, are included. Providers may also have had EYR inspections where there were No Children on Roll (NCOR); These are not included because their overall effectiveness outcome is not comparable to Full EYR, Care and Integrated inspections. In some instances these may have occurred after the 'most recent' full inspection. Providers registered on the CR but not the EYR may receive a CR inspection, but there is no requirement for Ofsted to inspect all providers who are exclusively on this register. Before the 1 September 2008, registered providers may have received Care, Integrated or Nursery Education inspections.
