Re-imposing the anti-dumping investigation on imports of certain threaded tube or pipe cast fittings of malleable cast iron, originating in the People’s Republic of China and produced by Jinan Meide Casting Co. Ltd.
Following the court judgement in case T-650/17 the Commission re-investigated of the anti-dumping concerning threaded tube or pipe cast fittings of malleable cast iron produced by Jinan Meide Casting Co. Ltd (additional code B336). It has announced in Implementing Regulation 2020/1210 OJ ref L274, that anti-dumping duty is re-imposed on imports produced by Jinan Meide Casting Co. Ltd. with effect from 15 May 2013.
This regulation takes effect from 22 August 2020.

Products concerned
The products concerned are classified within the following commodity codes:
- 7307 1910 10
- 7307 1910 20
Any definitive anti-dumping duty paid on imports produced by Jinan Meide Casting Co. Ltd. following Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/1146 which was in excess 36% can be reclaimed on form C285 from the National Duty Repayment Centre (subject to the 3 year rule).
Any reimbursement that took place following the General Court’s ruling in case T-650/17 Jinan Meide will be recovered by customs authorities which made the reimbursement up to 36%.
Customs authorities will also retrospectively collect the 36% anti-dumping duty on imports produced by Jinan Meide during the registration period from 29 November 2019 to date.
The registration period will now be terminated.
