Exemption of duty for imports of certain open mesh fabrics of glass fibres (Anti-Dumping Duty 2278)

Exempting a new Indian exporter from anti-dumping measures on imports of certain open mesh fabrics of glass fibres.

Following a new exporter review, the Commission has confirmed in Regulation (EU) No 2018/788,OJ L134, the exemption from Anti-Dumping Duty on imports of certain open mesh fabrics of glass fibres, produced by SPG Glass Fibre Pvt. Ltd.

This regulation takes effect from 1 June 2018.

Registration of these imports is discontinued.

The products concerned are currently classified within the following commodity codes:

  • 7019 5100 14
  • 7019 5900 14
  • 7019 5100 15
  • 7019 5900 15

The application of the exemption is conditional upon the presentation to customs authorities of a valid commercial invoice, containing a declaration, which is signed by an official of the entity issuing such invoice and which conforms to the following format:

  1. Name and function of the official of the entity issuing the commercial invoice.
  2. The following declaration: ‘I the undersigned, certify that the (volume) of (product concerned) sold for export to the European Union covered by this invoice was manufactured by (company name and address) (TARIC additional code) in (country concerned). I declare that the information provided in this invoice is complete and correct’.
  3. Date and signature.

If no such invoice is presented the Anti-Dumping Duty rate of 62.9% will apply.
