If you cannot submit your return online, you can email it using this spreadsheet. Before you complete it save the file to your device. Right-click and select the ‘save as’ option. Then open and complete it.

See the guidance on how to submit waste returns including the deadlines.

If your completed spreadsheet is a very large file you may need to zip it. Then the email will deliver successfully.

Email national-operator-returns@environment-agency.gov.uk if you have problems sending your return.

The Environment Agency requires returns for sites in England. Send your returns for sites in Wales to Natural Resources Wales.

  1. Updated the pick list for Origins and Destinations and minor amendments to column headings.
