Initiation of an anti-dumping proceeding concerning imports of iron or steel fasteners, originating in the People’s Republic of China.

The Commission has announced in the Official Journal ref. 2020/442/06 dated 21 December 2020, the initiation of an anti-dumping investigation concerning imports of iron or steel fasteners, originating in the People’s Republic of China.

1. Products affected

Product under investigation:

  • fasteners of iron or steel
  • other than of stainless steel
  • for example, wood screws (excluding)
  • self-tapping screws
  • other screws and bolts with heads (whether or not with their nuts or washers), and washers

2. Products not affected

Excluded products:

  • coach screws
  • screws and bolts for fixing railway track construction material
