Imports of certain cast iron tubes and pipes from the People's Republic of China and Thailand (Anti-Dumping Duty 2345)

Continuing the anti-dumping duty on imports of certain threaded tube or pipe cast fittings of malleable cast iron and spheroidal graphite cast iron, originating in the People’s Republic of China and Thailand.

Following an expiry review the Commission announced in regulation 2019/1259 OJ ref L197, the continuation of anti-dumping duty for a further 5 years, on imports of threaded tube or pipe cast fittings, of malleable cast iron and spheroidal graphite cast iron, originating in the People’s Republic of China and Thailand.

This regulation takes effect from 26 July 2019.

The products, are currently classified within in commodity codes:

  • 7307 1910 10

  • 7307 1990 10

The following products are excluded from the scope of the regulation:

  • bodies of compression fittings using ISO DIN 13 metric thread and malleable iron threaded circular junction boxes without having a lid

New exporting producers may apply to the Commission to be attributed the weighted average anti-dumping duty rate of 41.1% (subject to meeting conditions – see regulation for details).
