Our mission
We work in and with Vietnam to increase UK trade, investment, prosperity and improve the business environment; to pursue security and defence goals and to combat global issues like climate change, modern slavery and the illegal wildlife trade. We champion British values and provide a modern and efficient consular service for British nationals in Vietnam.
Building prosperity with South East Asia
As part of South East Asia, Vietnam is part of a diverse and distinct region that represents a number of opportunities for the UK. As such, there is an opportunity to advance UK interests by taking a regional approach in addition to bilateral activities.
