Abstract

This study - summarised as a research snapshot - examined the effects of multi-purpose cash transfers on healthseeking behavior, health service utilization, and health expenditures among Syrian refugees. The study contributed to much-needed evidence to inform use of cash transfer programmes in current and future humanitarian responses. Implications for humanitarian policymakers and practitioners and recommendations for further research are also outlined in this snapshot.
