Development of Pavement Design Standards for Low Volume Roads in Ethiopia. Project Inception Report

Recommendations for paved and unpaved roads that will lead to increased durability, lower user costs and maintenance requirements

Abstract

The principal outputs from this AFCAP funded project are pavement design recommendations for low volume roads (LVRs) for both paved and unpaved roads that will lead to increased durability, lower user costs and lower long term maintenance requirements. These recommendations will be incorporated into a comprehensive design manual for LVRs that is being prepared under a separate but closely related AFCAP project.
