Details

Highlights of the report include:

  • the total value of Housing Benefit (HB) overpayments outstanding stood at £968m, an 18% increase
  • the value of HB overpayments identified during the quarter increased by 4.8%
  • the value of HB overpayments recovered has increased by 9.2%
  • the value of HB overpayments written off has reduced by 20.4%
