1. Are you ready to take your Space Sector business to new heights?
The UK Space Agency is launching an exclusive, fully-funded programme for space sector businesses, preparing you for series A+ institutional investment.
The UK Space Sector is thriving, attracting a growing number and diversity of investors seeking high-growth opportunities.
However, we know that raising private capital is not always easy in the sector. The technology is often not well understood creating challenges in articulating value propositions, new markets are rapidly emerging causing difficulty in market sizing and there are misconceptions of investment opportunities sometimes skewed by science fiction. These challenges are in addition to identifying the right type of investors to engage with.
This programme will help you; craft the right materials to get you pitch ready, give you access to the investors ready to invest in the space sector, develop the skills of how to position your business to an investor, setting you up to secure future investment.
2. Business Pathway
The UK Space Agency is Unlocking Space for Investment by offering tailored content and hands-on training for Space Sector businesses looking to raise Series A+ funding. The 6-week programme will include:
Four 3-hour virtual masterclasses providing space-centric materials on topics such as being investor ready, finance and due diligence, market sizing and pitch deck development.
Two 3-hour in-person workshops offering insight into effectively leading your business through the investment process from sales to investor negotiations.
One-to-one coaching surgeries giving you exclusive access to a broad range of subject matter experts from corporate finance to space sector commercial strategy to answer questions related to your business.
Investor round table giving you the opportunity to refine your pitch and gain valuable feedback from investors in the parallel USI: Investor Pathway and investment subject matter experts.
Immersive pitch day giving you the opportunity to present your business to a group of institutional investors who are ready to invest in the space sector.
3. Starting December 2023
We will be running 2 pilots which will last for 6 weeks each. The first cohort will commence on 11 December 2023 and the second on 5 February 2024.
