This document provides guidance to all staff engaged with, or responsible for, the delivery of MDT programmes in prisons and young offenders’ institutions.
It provides mandatory instructions and guidance on MDT methods, processes, and staffing. It also provides guidance on the role of MDT testing in the adjudications processes (as set out in PSI 05/2018: Prison adjudications policy.
