The number of licences granted for the cultivation of low and high THC cannabis plants in England and Wales from 2010 to 2013

From the 2012 growing season, licences were issued for three cultivation seasons, so a licence issued in 2012 remains valid until 31 December 2014. The figure of 6 licences issued during 2013 therefore means there were a total of 35 licenses valid in 2013 and 29 in 2012.
