1. Request
Under the Freedom of Information Act, I would like to know how many Freedom of Information Act requests have been answered by yourselves firstly in the year 2023 in total and how many have been answered this year (not counting this request, obviously). It seems from public information that the SIA is being constantly having requests for information made to it (I believe by a small number of people) and I would like some totals to see if there is any trend I can find.
2. Response
I can confirm that the SIA does hold this information.
In the year 2023 the SIA answered a total of 113 FOI requests.
In the year 2024 to date (not including this response) the SIA has answered a total of 12 FOI requests.
Please be aware that these figures may differ to what is available online via our website as some FOI requests are not published as they have no public interest value.
