To download the toolkits, right click on the links and select “Save link as…” or “Save target as…”
The toolkits are available to download as PowerPoint show files. If you have accessibility requirements, there are also accessible PDF-based versions, which must be viewed in Adobe Reader.
The PowerPoint versions will work if you have Microsoft Office 2003 or later installed. If you have a Windows PC but do not have Microsoft Office installed, you can download a free viewer.
If you do not have Microsoft Office and cannot install the viewer, please download the PDF version.

Social impacts and economic growth are two key policy areas for transport, these toolkits help build understanding the relationship between transport and two key policy outcomes and the way we can influence them through transport policy and interventions.
These toolkits are supplementary to existing Department for Transport guidance. They are to be used to simplify issues and increasing understanding but do not replace or constitute official guidance.
