Rachel Brazier

Biography

Rachel Brazier is a UK diplomat with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. She is currently Chargée d’Affaires at the British Embassy in Mexico City.

A Spanish speaker and specialist in Latin America, she has previously been posted to British Embassies in Ecuador, Uruguay, and the UK Mission to the UN in New York. From 2015 to 2018 she was seconded to the EU Delegation in Colombia where she was Deputy Head of Delegation and Political Counsellor.

Before coming to Mexico, she was Americas Chief of Staff and Head of Network Operations, based in the UK.

They are responsible for the direction and work of the embassy and its consulates, including political work, trade and investment, press and cultural relations, and visa and consular services.
