Lizzie Noel

Biography

Lizzie Noel was non-executive board member of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs between May 2018 and May 2023.

Lizzie has over 20 years’ experience of senior roles in both the private and public sectors. She is an adviser to the University of Oxford, the Optimism Health Group and a director of the consulting firm Hemera. She has also served as an expert adviser to the Department for Education, an associate director of the New Schools Network, and as a senior adviser to Boris Johnson during his first term as Mayor of London. As senior adviser, she led the development and launch of Team London, still the single largest volunteering programme in the UK.

She was a member of the founding team of education and health business, Tribal Group plc, where she was director of communications from start up to annual revenues of £200m, and from five to 2,000 employees. On flotation, Tribal Group won the best newcomer award to the AIM market.
