David Horncastle
Biography
David joined the SIA Board in March 2015 as a non-executive director.
Career
Early in his career David spent several years working in the UK nuclear power industry. He then joined BT, and held many roles over a 30 year career through to March 2015. From 2009 David was Director of Security Professional Services in BT Security, responsible for both the protection of BT and the delivery of security services and solutions to customers. His experience has included a range of positions in IT, product and portfolio management, strategic planning, and programme delivery both in the UK and internationally.
David is also a Non-executive director of the National Crime Agency.
Education
David has an honors degree in Physics from Oxford University and a master’s degree in Computational Physics from the University of Salford
